Ingredients:
# Mutton - 1 kg
# Onions (finely chopped) - 3 nos
# Tomatoes - 2 nos (small)
# Pepper - 4 tsp
# Green Chillis - 4
# Ginger garlic paste - 3 tbsp
# Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - as required
# Curry leaves - as required
# Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
# Garam masala - 1 tbsp
# Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
# Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
# Oil - as required
# Salt - as required
Preparation:
# Clean the mutton and cut it into smaller pieces.
# Grind the green chillis along with pepper, lemon juice, salt, coriander leaves and ginger garlic paste and marinate the mutton in this paste for atleast an hour.
# Grind the tomatoes into a fine paste along with the chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and the garam masala powder.
# In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add the onions and fry until golden brown.
# Add the tomato paste and fry till the oil separates and the raw smell fades away.
# Add the marinated mutton and atleast 2 cups of water and cook it under pressure until the mutton is cooked.
# Cook till the gravy thickens (or the water completely evaporates).
# Garnish with fried curry leaves and serve warm with rice or parathas.
