Ingredients:
# Chicken (boneless) - 500 grams
# Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
# Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
# Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
# Salt - as required
# Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
# Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
# Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
# Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
# Onion - 1 nos
# Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
# Sugar - a pinch
# Oil - as required
# Spring onions (finely chopped) - to garnish
# Green Chilli - 1 nos
Preparation:
# Clean the chicken and cut it into small pieces.
# Marinate the chicken in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, and pepper powder for atleast 2 hours.
# Grind the onion into a fine paste and keep aside.
# In a large pan, heat oil and fry the chopped ginger an garlic until the raw smell fades away.
# Add the onion paste along with the slit green chilli and saute for a minute or two.
# Add the garam masala powder and saute until the raw smell fades away.
# Now, add the marinated chicken and add some water.
# Cook on medium flame until the chicken is completely cooked and the gravy thickens.
# Garnish with spring onions and serve warm with parathas.
