Ingredients:
# Ripe Chikkus - 5 nos
# Sugar - 1/2 cup
# Ghee - as required
# Milk Khoa - 100 grams
# Water - as required
# Almonds - a few
# Cashews - a few
# Milk - 1/2 cup
Preparation:
# Peel the chikkus, deseed them, and mash them into a fine pulp.
# Soak the almonds in milk overnight, and grind them into a fine paste. (Preserve the milk in which the almonds were soaked.)
# Boil water in a vessel and add the sugar and heat it on medium flame until a thick sugar syrup is formed.
# Simmer the sugar syrup and add the milk, fruit pulp and khoa and mix at regular intervals until no lumps are found.
# Now, add the almonds paste and keep stirring until it becomes thick and then remove the vessel from flame.
# Once it is cool, garnish with cashews (fried in ghee or butter) and serve.
