Aloo Paratha




INGREDIENTS:

Wheat flour -2 cups
Potatoes - 2 tbsp
Green Chillies - 2 no
Onion - 1 (medium sized)
Jeera - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - as required
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - As required

METHOD:

# Knead wheat flour into dough with salt, oil and warm water. Set this aside for a few minutes. 

# Boil the potatoes with a pinch of salt and after it becomes tender, peel it and mash it.

# Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and add the onions till it becomes golden brown.

# Add the ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell disappears and remove this from the stove. 

# After the onions cool, add the mashed potatoes, jeera, chillies and chilli powder and mix it uniformly.

# Make a few big balls out of the wheat dough and a few small balls out of the masala mixture. 

# Roll the wheat dough as a thick chapathi and place the masala mixture inside it. 

# Knead it into a ball again and roll it into a paratha. 

# Heat the pan to a medium flame and cook parathas untill they turn golden brown on both sides. 

NOW, HOT AND MOUTH-WATERING ALOO PARATHAS ARE READY...
SERVE ALONG WITH CURD OR RAITHA...
