Ingredients:
# Bread - 10 sliced
# Onions (finely chopped) - 4 nos
# Chilli powder - 3 tsp
# Coriander powder - 3 tsp
# Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
# Ghee - as required
# Tomatoes - 1 no
# Salt - as required
# Coriander leaves - to garnish
# Oregano powder - 1/2 tsp
# Sugar - a pinch (optional)
# Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp (optional)
Preparation:
# Slice the corners of the bread slices, and cut the bread into smaller pieces.
# Fry it in ghee until golden brown and keep it aside.
# Grind the tomato into a fine paste and keep it aside.
# In a larger pan, heat ghee and add the finely chopped onions and saute till the become golden brown.
# When the raw smell fades away, add the salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder and saute for a minute or two.
# Now, add the tomato paste and saute till the raw smell fades away.
# When the oil separates, add the oregano powder, a pinch of sugar and the lemon juice.
# Now, add the fried bread pieces and mix it well by tossing it.
# Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
