Pasta with Oregano Sauce

Hello people...

Here I am with a different recipe, Pasta with Oregano sauce.

It is a different recipe that tastes best when served warm.

So, let's begin...

Ingredients:

# Macaroni - 2 cups
# Cheese (grated) - half a cup
# Garlic pods (finely chopped)- 3 nos
# Pepper powder - 1 tsp
# Onion (finely chopped) - 1 nos
# Oregano (fresh or dried) - 2 tbsp
# Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
# Chilli sauce - 2 tbsp
# Soya sauce - 1/2 tbsp
# Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - as required
# Salt - as required
# Oil - as required
# Sugar - a pinch

Preparation:

# In a large pan, bring a generous amount of water to boil and add salt and a teaspoon of oil to it.

# Add the macaroni and cook until it is tender, but take care not to overcook the macaroni.

# Once done, drain off the excess water and rinse in cool water and set it aside.

# In a large pan, heat oil and cook the chopped onions until they turn golden brown.

# Add salt and the chopped garlic  and saute until the raw smell fades away.

# Add the pepper powder, tomato sauce, chilli sauce and the soya sauce and saute for a minute or two.

# Add the dried oregano and saute for a minute. If you use fresh oregano, mince the oregano before using it.

# Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about five minutes.

# Once done, add the grated cheese and the cooked macaroni and toss, adding a little pepper powder if necessary.

Garnish with a pinch of salt and coriander leaves and serve warm.
